Sheriff Olivia Benson
Sheriff Olivia Benson joined the Liberty City Sheriff's Office after a distinguished career with the New York City Police Department, where she spent more than three decades serving the people of New York and leading the renowned Special Victims Unit.
Rising through the ranks from patrol officer to Captain of the NYPD's Special Victims Unit, Benson became nationally respected for her leadership, investigative expertise and unwavering commitment to victims of violent crime. She recently accepted the position of Sheriff of the Liberty City Sheriff's Office, bringing decades of law enforcement experience to the department. Her administration prioritizes modernized operations, deputy wellness, community engagement and close cooperation with the Liberty City Police Department and state agencies.
