Roslyn Republic Withdraws from CALL After Civil War and Corruption Scandal

By Laura Pritchard, Staff Writer

Liberty City — In a stunning political development, the Roslyn Republic has announced its withdrawal from the CALL Alliance following days of civil unrest, a violent provincial conflict, and revelations of widespread corruption within the federal government in Roslyn City.

The announcement was made late last night after a heated session of Roslyn’s provisional council, which emerged only weeks after the collapse of President Jeremiah Rouslain’s administration. The corruption scandal, involving embezzlement of reconstruction funds and illegal arms transfers, has fueled massive protests across the Republic and led to a collapse of public trust.

The civil war between Aspen and Barlow provinces further deepened the crisis, with thousands displaced and infrastructure in ruins. Attempts by CALL mediators to stabilize the situation faltered as Roslyn’s government splintered under pressure.

“Roslyn can no longer continue in the CALL Alliance under the current circumstances,” a spokesperson for the provisional leadership stated. “We must focus on healing our Republic before we can fulfill any international commitments.”

Mayor Imran Stickl of Liberty City expressed deep regret over Roslyn’s decision:

“Roslyn was a vital partner in CALL, and its departure is a loss to us all. Liberty City will continue to support the people of Roslyn with humanitarian aid and stand ready to welcome them back into the Alliance once stability is restored.”

Leaders from Califon, Atarashii Momo, and Livena echoed concerns that Roslyn’s departure leaves the Alliance weakened at a time of rising global instability. Analysts warn that power vacuums in Roslyn could invite further violence from militias or foreign actors.

As Roslyn turns inward to rebuild, the CALL Alliance faces the challenge of proving its resilience in the absence of one of its founding members.
