Liberty City and Atarashii-Momo Strengthen Ties at Friendship Event

Atarashii-Momo, Japan – Mayor Imran Khan Stickl traveled to Liberty City’s Japanese partner city this week to attend a high-profile friendship event hosted by Prime Minister Niko Perkele. The visit marked a renewed commitment to cultural exchange, economic collaboration, and mutual understanding between the two cities.
A Warm Welcome
Upon arrival, Mayor Stickl was greeted with a traditional drumming performance and a welcoming ceremony attended by local officials, business leaders, and citizens. Prime Minister Perkele emphasized the “unbreakable friendship” between Atarashii-Momo and Liberty City, noting shared values of innovation, resilience, and community spirit.
Collaboration in Action
Throughout the visit, delegations from both cities engaged in joint workshops on sustainable urban planning, public safety strategies, and tourism development.
